How Do Growing Plots Work?
Our community garden plots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To get started, simply fill out an application and pay the small plot fee, which helps us maintain shared spaces and resources. Each plot will be tilled by the garden staff before the growing season begins, so it’s ready for you to plant right away. Gardeners are responsible for planting, weeding, and harvesting their own plots throughout the season. However, this is a true community garden built on connection and cooperation. We encourage everyone to get to know their plot neighbors, share advice, and lend a hand when someone is away. Whether it’s helping with watering during a vacation or celebrating a good harvest together, the garden thrives when we care for it and each other.

Can I Get a Plot?
To rent a plot in our community garden, applicants must complete a short application form and agree to maintain their space throughout the growing season. We have 6 in-ground beds and one raised bed currently available. Renters receive a 30% discount, and anyone receiving food assistance qualifies for an additional 30% off. The beds are priced at $1 per square foot for raised beds and $0.50 for in ground beds. (example: one 4 foot by 8 foot bed is 32 square feet. One raised bed is $32 dollars and one in ground bed is $16). Payments can be made by check or cash at the garden at the beginning of the season.
